Omar Hernandez's professionalism is unparalleled as he frequently advocates for his patients in care and safety. Just recently, Omar made a crucial catch when he held one of the patients who was scheduled for in-suite dialysis because previously the patient had a positive covid result, but current hospitalization showed negative. Turns out it was a false negative result, and the patient was indeed covid positive. Omar embodies all the core accolades of DaVita. Since his tenure, Omar has become a preceptor, soon to train his 9th teammate, and a hospital lead to which he oversees assignments, supplies, and now leading a PCT program.
