Her calm demeanor, caring nature, genuine concern, and utmost compassion for patients, families, and colleagues are just a few of the qualities that makes this individual an outstanding nurse practitioner and proves this quote to be true.

Whether Omega is caring for Cardiology patients in the outpatient area or the inpatient setting, whether she is simply educating a patient about an upcoming procedure or about their medications, it is always evident that she truly cares about all of her patients and their well being. Patients and their families would never know that she and the cardiologist have over twenty patients to see in a day. This nurse practitioner is authentically present when she is with a patient, actively listens to what is being said, and can intuitively get the patient to reveal what may have been left unsaid. She always takes time to ensure that her patients understand their diagnosis and are comfortable with their plan of care. Between her wealth of knowledge about cardiology and peripheral vascular disease, her ability to communicate effectively with patients and families, and her indisputable concern for others, This nurse consistently provides compassionate, competent care.

This nurse practitioner is not only well respected by her patients; she is also tremendously valued by all of those with whom she works.
