It is my pleasure, on behalf of Hays Medical Center and its Administration, Management Team, and Omelia's co-workers, to proclaim Omelia Klein an extraordinary nurse. Omelia is an RN who cares for Acute Care patients.

“What a trooper. My father was not the easiest patient to care for. Omelia had to endure sub-tropic heat when she cared for Dad, Dad loves a warm room. Omelia did her duties with a smile and a great deal of patience. She and I had several humorous moments. Dad would always say “bless her heart”. Omelia really got to Dad and in the best way possible. Many, many thanks.”

“Omelia was there instantly whenever I needed assistance. I was there following a second surgery involving a mastectomy I had. The second surgery was due to an infection in the breast area. Omelia did everything possible to keep me comfortable and to see that my antibiotics and other needs were met instantly. Wonderful personality and did everything in a caring manner and a smile. She was truly an angel in my mind when I was suffering so much. Everything Omelia did was with compassion and care.”
