Omolola Ojetayo

Lola is a dedicated student and a new mother. I felt it was very necessary to give her recognition for her unwavering commitment to her nursing education and staggering strength and resilience. Given the fact that she is in a one year accelerated program and is becoming a new mother - returning to the clinical setting while 3 short weeks after giving birth is something to be recognized and lauded. I know how hard this is, doing it myself returning to a very physical job after only 2 weeks post-partum - because you have a goal. She is a tough cookie and deserves to be recognized for her commitment not only to education, future career but also to her role as a mother and to her family.
