Onidis was recognized by her peers as one who exemplifies and consistently meets outstanding role model criteria. She readily establishes positive connections with peers, patients, and families, and is very compassionate in every interaction. She exhibits proactive leadership skills, and a strong commitment to the advancement of the nursing profession, as demonstrated while serving as the Chair of the Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Council. She led the council to research and adopt an evidence-based practice model and served as a mentor and teacher for the implementation of this model. She has remained fully committed to impacting and making a difference in the lives of patients and peers throughout the organization and in the community, we serve.
