Nurse Onyi is the Best! I would whine and whine anytime I did not have her as my nurse, and I knew she was here. She pays very close attention to the needs of her patients, and she takes the time to explain things to you step-by-step. If you are stressed or worried about anything, she is a listening ear always extending a kind word or words of encouragement. She always makes sure you understand anything going on with your healthcare and anything you may not understand or don’t know, she will be sure to get the answer if she doesn’t already know it. She makes her patients feel safe and meaningful. With Nurse Onyi I don’t feel like I’m just another number. She treats me like a human and I’m so grateful for her kindness during my stay. Laughter is good for healing, and we’ve shared many.

Onyi stood out to me because of her extreme sweetness toward my mother. She understood that my mother was not just another patient. My mother was also very comfortable having Onyi as her nurse and felt very much cared for by her. The way Onyi communicated with her made my mother feel at home instead of being in a hospital.
