Onyinyechi "Anne" Ogbonna, BSN, RN

My first night after the surgery was a physically and emotionally difficult night for me.  Although I could tell that Anne was exhausted and spread out thin and working and running around like a bumble bee, she recognized my pain and discomfort and took such amazing care of me with a lot of patience and compassion.  I think I was a tough patient that night, yet she never made me feel like a burden.  On the contrary, she made me feel special and like I was the most important patient and made sure to care for me the best way she could.  I was very miserable, scared, and in a lot of pain, and I felt like if Anne was not there, I don't think I could have survived.  She checked up on me regularly through the night, and I almost had no need to press the call button for her but maybe once.  She was definitely on top of her game and knows what her patients need.
