I really appreciate Miss Orapun's great care. This is my inspiring story of nurse care. This nurse exemplifies the meaning of nursing care. I work alone in Thailand without any family members. The day I was hospitalized, I was worried about many things, especially language barriers. I am lucky this hospital has interpreters. After surgery, I was moved to the in-patient room accompanied by a team of nurses, and Miss Orapun welcomed me in the morning. She greeted me in Japanese. I was very gladly surprised. She asked about my health and conditions in Japanese. She spoke as she smiled and seemingly restored me with her touch. I was very moved by the visit and was very impressed with her care. She visited me every day. On the 2nd day, I noticed her compassion because I was downstairs buying necessities. I refused many offers out of kindness, but I gave in and confessed that I was trying to buy sanitary napkins. Since I had undergone an operation I needed sanitary napkins, but I was shy because I was a man. But Miss Orapun stayed with me and assisted me with buying sanitary napkins. She also asked about my stay in Thailand with great empathy. I was very touched and comforted by my visit to this hospital. I really want to thank Miss Orapun for the great care she gave me.
