I suffer from many chronic health issues and many times become overwhelmed with information and emotions. During this stay, my emotions were high due to new issues that caused me being hospitalized and Ormie stayed with me until I felt I understood the reason each step was being done. I lost my son eight months ago and I can begin talking about him out of the blue; stories of him growing up; although she probably was busy, she stood there listening patting my foot or giving me a slight hug of assurance. Never once making me feel I didn't matter. She made me feel like I was #1. To me, emotional healthcare helps as much as medical care. Thank you for everything!

During my stay, my nurse had a full agenda. This did not affect her cheerfulness and punctuality in the least. If she was held up with another patient, she sent word that she was delayed. IV medications and injections were administered personally and I was fully informed of what the medications were for. It is this kind of service that makes choosing Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital a pleasure! She is Fantastic. Wonderful. Dedicated.
