Otha Brown

Otha Brown did outstanding patient care, treating each patient with the utmost respect and dignity. When he encountered resistance from other staff, he represented our core values (PRIDE) and professionally and politely expressed that he would offer nothing but high-quality patient care- he sanitized his dinemapp (BP cuff, thermometer, other equipment) consistently, and in Bren each patient (inmate population) he spoke to his patients with kindness and respect. Explaining the delay to his instructor- he is an outstanding student, knowledgeable, compassionate, and with excellent clinical judgment, a great example to other students, and a great patient advocate. He deserves this award.
