This day began as a normal day for PACU. Shortly after arriving to work the team witnessed one of their own quickly become sick and lose consciousness. Although they were all shaken by the fear of losing their teammate, they took quick action. Within a matter of seconds, they started and performed life-saving measures. As a result of their teamwork and dedication to their profession and peers, their teammate will remain whole and continue their Atrium Mission of Health, Hope, and Healing for all. PACU as a whole are a group dedicated to their patients, families, and teammates. They are very compassionate about the care they provide and support each other by exemplifying excellent teamwork.
