These unsung heroes deserve immense recognition and appreciation for their zealous work, commitment, and dedication to ensuring someone’s life is taken care of in a timely manner. The team is able to provide exceptional care only because it lays its foundation on Sidra's core values, mutual respect, and professionalism. It’s been more than 5 years since Sidra started its operation, and I am proud to say this team has made a big contribution to the success of every surgical care. I feel they deserve to be recognized as one of the backbone or pillars of the team.

For the past years, I am so proud to say our staff embraced every new opportunity to extend our roles and our flexibility, working in different environments and cross-training. I witnessed our nurse’s patience and tact in dealing with difficult situations like anxious families in the unit, they remain pleasant and upbeat with a friendly demeanor towards them. We also have dedicated staff as part of the shared governance team, they’ve been a big part in improving nurse engagement to improve our patient’s journey and experience. We ensure that our performance as a team involves the SIDRA VALUES:

1. TRUST: protect the public trust with uncompromising integrity, commitment to our professional standards, full transparency, and fairness in all our care. Being competent. Respecting patients and staff.

2. TEAMWORK: engage in respectful, collaborative, trust-based relationships at all levels within the organization.

3. CARE: consistently acting with kindness and compassion towards our patients.

4. TRANSPARENCY: strive for open, effective dialogues at all levels of the organization to ensure input is valued and considered and reasons for decisions are explained.

5. EFFICIENCY: provide, as a top priority, a safe and healthful work environment for our team. And continuously improving outcomes in patient and family care.

6. INNOVATION: continuously seek opportunities to optimize our practices by engaging the expertise of our staff and embracing innovations.
