July 2026 Honoree
Paige Eley, RN
Our baby has had cancer since he was a year old, so we have been in this process for three years. Our son is currently going through the hardest battle right now with his cancer journey, which is bone marrow transplant.
This has been the scariest, hardest, and most physically and emotionally draining moment of our lives. But in our darkness, we have our nurses and specifically we have Paige. Paige is everything that you need in a nurse. She is kind, compassionate, and highly intelligent. She is empathetic, a trustworthy advocate, and she genuinely cares about her patients.
During the hardest time of our life, that’s what we need. We need someone who actually cares and is an amazing nurse and that’s what we got with Paige. If anyone deserves an award for being the best of the best, it would be Paige. We will forever be thankful for her and what she has done for our family, but most importantly, for what she has done for our son and countless children who have been her patients.
