May 2022 Honoree
Paige Hagler, RN
My 17-year-old son suffered a self-inflicted gunshot through his frontal lobe. We were transferred to Jones 5th floor, and Ms. Paige connected with me on a personal/professional level. Being a medical provider myself, she understood my need to concentrate on his medical needs/results of labs and reports. As a mother, she was able to address/identify my maternal fears and questions. She took time to see me as a professional and a terrified mother with an unknown prognosis/future for my son. Although everyone was awesome here, Ms. Paige is one who I will strive to be like in my own practice – kind, empathetic, understanding, and patient. Exactly what I needed at the moment I needed it, and I am forever grateful.
Thank you, Paige, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
