My husband came into the hospital in Septic shock a week after a surgical procedure in another facility. The staff at AdventHealth was excellent at anticipating the needs of my husband, as well as caring for our family as we cared for him. At this point, we have been here for 11 days and have had repeat caregivers. While several nurses have given excellent care, I would like to recognize Paige Penwell, BSN, RN, who has been diligent in my husband's care. She is proactive, considerate, comforting, encouraging, and a ray of sunshine. We began requesting her for care on her work days. The continuity has been valuable to us, and her personality and professionalism are reassuring. We are grateful to have been receiving care at AdventHealth from Paige.

Paige went above and beyond to care for my dad while he was her patient. She took the time to explain details to us, teach us about his care, print out information for us, and just build a relationship. We feel like she is family and are so grateful for how she treated us. I can think of no one more deserving than Paige for her hard work and dedication.
