Paige was my nurse during my c-section. She was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel comfortable, connected with me, and genuinely cared. A few noteworthy things that stand out to me include her support during my spinal block. She was right in front of me, supporting me, encouraging me, and distracting me. I valued that so much. The most important thing Paige did was at the end of my c-section. She cheerfully checked on me and asked how I was doing as the c-section was almost done. I immediately started crying and told her I wasn't able to hold my baby yet since the procedure went fast and they had to work on my son for a little bit when he came out.

When I got wheeled into the recovery room, one of the other nurses or staff members said something that had to be done and Paige took charge as my advocate. Calmly, politely, and professionally, she immediately said, "No, the first thing she has to do is hold her baby." Paige proceeded to give me that skin-to-skin time which is so important. I will forever be grateful that she had my best interest at the forefront, was my advocate, and was such a huge supporter of me the entire time. Thank you, Paige! We appreciate everything you did for us on that day!
