My son was born 15 weeks early. As any NICU parent knows, it’s far from easy leaving the hospital empty-handed. In my case, I left the NICU without my baby over 106 times. Paige was there on the day my baby was born and on the day my baby graduated from the NICU. She made my NICU Mother’s Day and first Mother’s Day unforgettable. So many tears shed, and she never failed to reassure me. So many tests, labs, pricks, and pokes, and she never failed to teach me. She absolutely never missed a moment to celebrate and love my baby, even when I had to go back to work. She took a very scary time period and made it into my most cherished memory. Paige is an extraordinary and phenomenal woman.
