July 2026 Honoree
Paige Workinger, RN, BSN
From the moment I got on unit 4E-W, Paige took me under her wing. On my worst days, when I didn’t have hope, she would tell me things such as, “This is just a temporary space, and things get better, day by day and minute by minute; things will improve.” And this surely happened.
Paige made me feel validated no matter how small or big the issue was pertaining.
Paige, you are one of the hardest-working nurses I’ve come across on my journey here at LGH. You, Paige, are a living example of good work ethic, never leaving work behind for another co-worker to finish up things that need to get done. And believe me, nurses have many hats to wear, and you never fold.
But most of all, Paige, you mean what you say and have an undying commitment and patience. Paige, I could never thank you enough if I lived to 100 years. You taught me to never give up.
Paige, never lose your fire or compassion for life, for nursing, or whatever you do. You, my dear, are a rock star. Thank you, Paige, for being you, rock solid.
Thank you, Paige, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
