My grandpa was admitted after weeks of struggling with our healthcare system at home/trying to get into Rehab. Despite the hospital being beyond capacity and staffing extremely short, Pakou always made sure he was not only cared for but his family as well. Pakou made sure to come and update multiple family members any time we were there and made sure to always communicate with my grandpa as well – despite his confusion. She was mindful of the areas causing him pain and made sure his many belongings were within reach. She always was “a ray of sunshine” as my grandpa said many times and made his stay so much better.
