They see patients on all floors for all different types of conditions. They can be consulted for palliation of pain, advanced care planning, end-of-life discussion, or just for support. I find that they are very helpful and kind to their patients. Dr. Speigel, myself, palliative, chaplains, etc meet every week to go over their patients.
