Pam and the SSM Hospital Nursing staff went above and beyond to bring our parents together into one room at the hospital. Our parents were both in the hospital during Easter weekend, so the SSM nurses worked with Pam, and Pam did what she needed to get approval from all involved to make this happen. Our father was very sick, and the doctors and nurses knew time was of the essence for him and how important it was for our parents to stay together after being married for nearly 71 years. The SSM Staff made it happen, they were able to get our parents into one room on Easter Sunday. Pam was so determined to do what she could to make this happen. She and the other SSM nurses were angels for our parents. We are forever grateful! Sadly the couple passed away within just days of each other at the hospice facility they were moved to.
