He sent Pam pictures of the baby and said he definitely wanted to get in touch when they were home and settled.
Pam was recognized by two of her former patients who were hospitalized with Covid.

One patient’s daughter commented: “I cannot thank you enough for the way you treated my mom and my family. As soon as Mom went to the next floor all she kept wanting was you back to help her. You are a wonderful nurse and really made a difference in our lives.”

The second patient was hospitalized with COVID and close to term with her pregnancy. The patient was quite ill, and there were serious concerns for the baby. Pam developed an excellent rapport with the patient, and the patient’s husband, keeping him informed throughout her shifts. The patient’s condition declined and she was transferred to a tertiary hospital in Louisville. The patient’s husband kept Pam updated on his wife’s condition and notified her of the birth of their child. He sent Pam pictures of the baby and said he definitely wanted to get in touch when they were home and settled. This family was very grateful for the extraordinary care and attention she provided during a very stressful time in their lives.
