This nurse was excellent. She made sure my pain was minimum and I was comfortable. She was very nice and upbeat overnight when she cared for me. I was just coming out of surgery and she took care of me all night, even when I was foggy-headed. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel well-taken care of. I normally do not nominate people for awards, but I felt like this nurse really deserved it. I really had a good experience. She was very concerned about making her patient comfortable. She has a pleasing personality. Caring and concerned about her patients. Checked in on me before I had to push the button. I was in a lot of pain, she assessed me and went out of her way to contact the MD and advocated for different pain medicine to treat my pain. She would make hot compresses and wrap them onto my body where the pain was, and it helped my pain a lot. Even on nights when she did not have me as a patient, she would stop into my room and tell me that she was thinking about me. She would stop by again after her shift was over and check on me again. I cannot explain to you how special she was. Pam was very caring and concerned about her patients.
