It is my honor to write this for a co-worker of thirty years whom I feel is so very deserving of this recognition. Pam exemplifies professional, compassionate, caring qualities every day. Day in and day out, Pam comes to work with a smile and ready to give her all. She never waivers from her calm, cheerful, hardworking style. Pam never hesitates to help patients and co-workers with a cheerful attitude. Her 30 years of experience is incredibly valuable to our unit. Pam organizes our potlucks, thank you cards, cake, and donations on behalf of our volunteers, health scholars, traveling nurses, birthdays and retirement celebrations. Pam works as a staff nurse and charge nurse, and in either role, she is a joy to work with. When in charge, she's aware of the needs of the unit, proactive, and never hesitates to help. It is my wish that this incredible nurse is recognized for all she does for her patients, families, co-workers, volunteers, and the general well being of our unit.
