Pam learned that one of her Environmental Services department colleagues was in need of a kidney transplant. Pam wanted to help and spent many hours investigating and testing to see if she would qualify to be a match to the donor. Pam learned in October that she had passed all testing and she could donate a kidney. The surgery took place in November. Pam is now back to work and doing fine. The recipient is also now back to work and doing very well. Pam stepped up to help a fellow colleague to lead a normal life without dialysis. Congratulations Pam!
