I was recently called to EMFLH ER for a patient who expired. Pam was assisting me in the room in preparing the deceased for family viewing. In her attention to detail, she recognized and found a small package of illicit drugs that was concealed in the patient's clothing. This was very important to the death investigation and otherwise could have been discarded. Mrs. Smith is always very efficient, polite, and professional when I have an interaction with her at the hospital. Excellent job!

At shift change, we had a 2-month-old baby who had passed. Pam was her when the baby came in earlier. Pam took excellent care of the family. Pam and Kelly from OB made the family a memory box and Pam stayed for 2-3 hours after her shift ended. Pam went above and beyond for a family that was devastated by loss! She made a connection with the mother and was able to give some comfort.

Pam stayed hours passed when her shift ended to console and take care of a grieving family who lost their baby. She was so kind and caring to the family during probably one of the hardest days of their lives. Proud to have her as a co-worker.

Pam is so very dependable, proactive in her duties. I know when I am not present, she will take care of things. She genuinely cares about her patients and herwork family.
