... I had heart valve replacement. Pam was my nurse on the night shift. Pam always had a big smile for me and everyday asked about my day's activities with supporting words of encouragement. Pam would help me in every way she could, some nights she changed out my bedding 2 or 3 times, always leaving with "can I get you some ice water". Every night, at least once, Pam would come into my room just to check on me, I know this nursing staff is busy but she would come in just to check on me. I wish I had the proper words to say Thank You to Pam, I will never forget her healing words and comforting smile. Sanford Health has a great nurse in Pam Wilson as she was always organized and informed; this made me feel I was in good hands when I was in Pam's care.
