Pamela is a nurse on the General Surgical unit. She is modeled as a professional, calm, and kind clinician to doctors, patients and others. Her nursing skills and judgments are always outstanding. She is well known for her grace when dealing with demanding physicians and about 10 physicians signed her nomination in agreement. Pamela is often called on as a resource for other floors when dealing with specific drains. She is actively involved in the Unit customer service committee. Pamela is a preceptor, and mentor to many new employees and consistently volunteers to work extra on her days off to help her team.
