Pamela Nyarko, FNP C-EFM
This nurse! She’s one of the best nurses I’ve ever encountered in my life and I’ve been in and out of hospitals my entire life. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and have sickle cell disease, so I am considered high risk and receive treatment at Morgan Stanley’s Children’s Hospital.
All the nurses and doctors are amazing but Nurse Pam, she feels like home. She feels like family. The times she’s taken care of me, she’s been the one to make me laugh and forget my pain. She sits down and talks about everything and anything with me. She makes me feel like we are family members just enjoying our time together instead of just a nurse-and-patient relationship. She is so attentive, she’s funny, and she’s beautiful inside and out. She relates to her patient. I think she deserves a DAISY Award. This hospital is so lucky to have her working with them!
Nurse Pam, thank you. I know I always thank you for everything but honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being you, for taking care of me, and for always putting a smile on my face.
