I came to the infusion center to receive methotrexate for an ectopic pregnancy. As soon as Pam took me back she started to explain the side effects of the drug. I immediately started crying because of how discouraged I felt after having a laparoscopy for my miscarriage and still needing treatment for the same miscarriage. She comforted me in the most personal way. She cried with me! It meant so much to be treated with such empathy in a clinic. She didn't rush me and lovingly answered all my questions. She brought me water and snacks and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. She talked with me until I was ready to leave. Her kind, gentle way was extraordinary and helped me leave the infusion center with hope for the future healthy babies to come.
