Due to paying bills and being here for my husband (while he was an inpatient), I had not much time or money for food. I had been able to keep my blood sugar up with sweet tea. I did not do a good job of it this certain day. My sugar crashed and I got dizzy. I concerned my husband and instead of giving me a moment he called a nurse. Pam was so kind and helped provide me with food and the ability to have food and gasoline, so I did not have to walk to work that week. I was so ashamed and embarrassed, but her kindness continues to help me so I can be there for my husband. Sometimes we lose sight of helping ourselves when caring for loved ones. She is a true guardian angel. The world would be better with more people like her.
