Pam may not work directly with patients, but her work directly influences the care provided by clinical teams. As a Clinical Informaticist Nurse, Pam helped lead the upgrade toEpic 2014 last April, spending countless hours reviewing hundreds of notes from Epic detailing the changes that would take place. In the lead-up to the transition, IS&T brought onseveral new nurses and analysts. One of them, a Clinical Informaticist, wrote that "Pam took time from her busy schedule to mentor us on our new positions and train us on theupgrade. She certainly had enough on her plate, but she felt it was important to make us feel like we were part of the team." After the launch of Epic 2014, she continued to work tomake sure the team understood new functionality. "Pam is truly a wonderful nurse," says the Clinical Informaticist. "She understands the importance of being a leader and in guiding others."

Thank you, Pamela, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
