I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and was brought into your facility prior to shift change. Upon arrival, I saw the face of the doctor and was relieved due to previously working with him. At shift change, Pam Wilson entered my room and my heart immediately became at ease. Even after such a big event, my husband is still not at my side. You see, I used to work with Pam and she became my Mimi. Her presence is always calming no matter what and you will be laughing with her no matter the situation. Mimi came right to my bedside and gave me the biggest hug. Better yet, she went right into nurse mode & began fixing me up. She and the doctor continually checked on me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible while feeling pretty crumby after the accident. I started having some chest and back pain, and Pam would do what was needed to make me feel better and make sure something serious was not going on. Pam is the lady you can count on for many things! She is there for a laugh, a shoulder to cry on, a sounding board when you need it, and to get down to tasks when **** can hit the fan. She is a wonderful woman and one of the BEST nurses I know. I am forever grateful Mimi was at my bedside this day, but truly each person who gets this lady at their bedside is blessed beyond measure and I wish they knew how lucky they are. I want to nominate this wonderful lady for this remarkable award for what she did for me. Furthermore, she deserves the award for all she does for others. I love you, Mimi!
