Pamm Placzek was my husband's nurse. She had a special knack of putting his worries to rest especially when he was in pain, anxious or just plain frustrated (he wasn't always the easiest of patients). My husband stated, if he ever had to go to the hospital again, he would come to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and wanted Pamm to be his nurse.
She always kept us informed with the test results and what those results meant. She was able to explain the results in layman's terms. She stayed with us until we didn't have any more questions. Never making us feel like she had some place else to go or another patient to see. Pamm always came in with a smile & high energy. She was so pleasant to work with. Her communication skills are one of the best I've ever seen.
It was so important to me that my husband was able to be in a caring environment with such impeccably high standard of care, delivered with such warmth. The hospital and Pamm exceeded that goal.
Pamm was attentive, warm, friendly, communicative, knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Pamm certainly is a shining star to the nursing profession and to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano.
