I just wanted to commend Pang Yang RN for her outstanding dedication in taking care of a patient brought yesterday to the Emergency Dept. The patient had an ischemic leg with one of the worst bug infestations I’ve seen in my experience. The smell made many cover their faces in the unit. Pang assisted the patient in removing clothes and cleaning the hundreds of bugs coming out. She treated the patient with dignity and respect throughout the whole process of caring for the patient as a whole and with the urgent condition that his leg was in. It was at a critical point. This proof of dedication should go all the way up in our organization. Nurse Pang is a caring, dedicated nurse to our Veterans. We are so fortunate to have her here!
