My nurse, Parker, came into my room while I was in the middle of bad and scary news. Not only did he show empathy and sympathy, he took the extra time to try and talk to me through things and read back through the notes. Instead of coming in and leaving after the 2 or 3 things he had to do, he took the time to make sure I genuinely felt better and more at ease. Most importantly, that knew I was not alone and I was important. I knew I was going to be taken care of, and he would do all he could to make sure of it. I felt much more at ease and much more taken care of than I have with most other nurses or incidents I've been through. He took his time and went above and beyond. I will always remember the care he gave me. He was a truly wonderful nurse.
