During the hardest time of my family’s life, a blessing came to us, Passang made the hardest time of our life a little less heavy. With hospital stay after hospital stay, we found we were in the hospital with my dad more than when we were home. Terminal illness just hits differently!

He was in and out of the ICU over and over throughout most of December. Christmas no longer held a joyful memory only thing was the memory of such a horrible stretch. We came to a crossroad and struggled with the decision to continue aggressively with his care to make him comfortable. The hardest decision I have ever been a part of.

Passang,day after day, went the extra mile to ensure my dad was treated with the best care and even said hello when he wasn’t her patient. We never had to ask for anything on Passang’s watch! The call button collected dust on her watch.  I never worried about his care when her name was on the board as his RN.
