Pat was consulted on case early on in the two weeks, three surgeries and two admissions of my stay. She was an advocate for me for pain control which was extremely difficult due to the complications and additional surgeries required. She advocated to extend use of the PCA pump, long acting and IV pain meds to make me as comfortable as possible given the difficult circumstances. She has even continued to advocate for me with Ortho after discharge.
