Pat consistently gets feedback from parents in our surveys that she is compassionate, calming, and gives excellent advice and an empathetic ear. She works overnight when many parents call in the middle of the night very worried, and she does an excellent job of calming very distraught parents. Pat also has many very serious health issues and continues to do an exceptional job with our parents.

Pat works the night shift in the Nurse Advice line, which can be very challenging. Many people who are calling in the middle of the night for advice are very stressed that their child may very sick. Pat has recently received feedback from several families thanking her for her calm, caring advice when they needed it most. Pat has a special way of connecting with many of these moms who are home dealing with a newborn for the first time. Pat is very dedicated to the Nurse Advice Line and is always caring for others on her downtime, even when it may be difficult.

Pat is one of our night shift nurses, and she regularly gets parent comments on how kind, helpful, and reassuring she has been. Parents' stress levels are higher in the middle of the night when they are exhausted and have a crying, sick child. Pat is always able to give recommendations on managing the illness symptoms and is also great at calming the parents and giving them the confidence to help their child.
