No matter what role or department Pat has been in, she always exemplifies professionalism and patient-centered care.
Pat has been with the organization in various roles for over 42 years. She began her nursing career at Elmhurst Hospital in 1981 as a new graduate RN. After gaining experience as a staff nurse, Pat was promoted to Assistant Patient Care Coordinator Med/Surg, Assistant Manager of Cardiovascular Services, Patient Flow Coordinator, RN Clinical Coordinator of Specialty Clinics, and then finally into her current role of System Manager, Specialty Services. Along the way, Pat also advanced her education, returning to school to complete her MSN. She has been an integral part in the integration, development, and expansion of services within Diabetes, Weight Loss and Bariatrics, Pain, and Integrative Medicine practices.

She has excellent customer service skills and applies them to every situation in working with patients, families, staff, coworkers, or physicians. She is hardworking and willing and does whatever it takes to do her job to the best of her ability.

A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be. Pat has that quiet confidence, and she gets things done. She always made it look so easy. Pat was the person who ALWAYS continued to learn new things.
