Patience Green

Patience shows genuine care and compassion for all who cross her path. Her commitment to learning skills and ways to enhance patient care has been evident throughout her journey at St. Kate's. Her bright light continually shines and enhances all spaces. She has been impactful for clients as a student nurse and will touch the lives of so many as a registered nurse!

During peds clinicals, Patience's client had a hemorrhage. During the stabilization, the client's crying exacerbated the bleeding. Patience recognized the concern and moved to the head of the bed away from the other providers who were working on the client. She was able to calm the baby, which made a significant difference in the client's outcome. The nurse praised Patience after the incident, noting that Patience's actions greatly improved the client's outcome.
