Patricia was the first nurse who actually looked me in the eye, not just at her computer screen when she spoke to me or examined me. What a huge difference that makes! You feel human again! She was meticulous in her examinations. She actually listened to me while looking me in the eye as opposed to just mumbling "uh-huh" while staring at the computer screen and never looking at me. She explained everything patiently and clearly. I am sure she is just as overworked and exhausted as all the other nurses, but you would never know it by her excellent bedside manner.
