When I was assigned Patricia Barr, things started to happen. Pain meds arrived without having to call for them, assistance in getting in and out of bed without complaint, water/tea given when requested. It was never a question of a task being beneath her with Pat. I was upset, and Pat took the time to calm me down and listen to me vent. She was very kind to me. An hour with her helped me move past my bad day. Her pleasant attitude made my day better. Pat also explained and showed me how to use my breathing machine. I believe that I would have checked myself out if she had not been there to see to my care. No matter what I asked her to do, Pat was willing to assist.
