Pat Berg is an Extraordinary Nurse. She is always friendly, outgoing, and helpful to both her co-workers and her patients. Pat has a wealth of knowledge from her many years on 4NE and seems to always handle any situation. Pat ensures that the staff have what they need and is great at supporting new charge nurses as they learn the ropes. Whenever I see Pat on a shift, I know we are in good hands.
Even in the snow, Pat showed up prepared to stay the night and be a part of the team in whatever role she was asked. She wears many hats including Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, and Patient Throughput Coordinator. She is adept and is always focused on what the patients need while supporting the staff. Pat is welcoming on the unit to all and works to build relationships with all members of the team from providers to volunteers.
Pat's commitment to providing compassionate and skilled care to all patients shines through as she seems to effortlessly lead, teach, mentor, and inspire us all. We are lucky to have her on our team!
