I am honored to recognize Ms. Pat for the exceptional care she provided during my stay. From the very beginning, she was incredibly warm and friendly, immediately putting me at ease during a time when I felt anxious and uncertain.
Ms. Pat took the time to thoroughly explain my plan of care and what I could expect throughout my stay. She never made me feel rushed or like just another patient. Instead, she treated me with patience, respect, and genuine kindness. Her ability to break down information clearly and ensure I understood what was happening helped reduce so much of my fear.
What truly stood out was how attentive she was. She came in and out of my room numerous times, not because she had to, but because she wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. She consistently checked on me, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure I was comfortable. That level of attentiveness made a tremendous difference.
Ms. Pat's years of experience were evident in her confidence and competence, but it was her personality that made the greatest impact. She treated me like family. That combination of clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion is rare and extraordinary.
Because of her, I felt safe, cared for, and supported during a vulnerable time. Ms. Pat embodies the kind of nurse every patient hopes to have. I am deeply grateful for the care she provided and wholeheartedly believe she deserves recognition through the DAISY Award.
