From pre-procedure to the post-op follow-up call, Patricia Conley has by far exceeded her call of duty as a nurse. My son was anxious before his surgery about his procedure and Patricia worked her magic in helping reassure him that he was in good hands and promised him that she would take care of him. She hugged him and made him laugh before he headed out for surgery.
My 83-year-old grandmother came to the hospital to be with me and my son. She was looking forward to eating lunch in the cafeteria because she said that there is always good food. Our surgeon was running late and by the time he arrived, the cafeteria had closed. Patricia heard my grandmother's disappointment and went and got her own personal lunch box and heated up her lunch and brought it to my grandmother! She was so wonderful to my son, my grandmother, and me. My grandmother has told her story to nearly everyone we meet. It makes me proud to be a part of the Baptist family.
