My husband was admitted to 3 North after 3 days in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, where he had life-saving surgery by two trauma surgeons to repair two GI bleeds. He survived three mass infusions and surgeries in 2 days. I was terrified to have him moved to 3 North as was he. Patricia looked at me, saw the fear, and immediately put my mind at ease. She was kind, efficient, and answered all of my questions. She checked him for bleeding and made sure that the nurse after her knew exactly the trauma that my otherwise healthy 44-year-old husband went through. She is an asset to any hospital and we will never forget her. My husband went from sick and terrified to walking and sitting up.
