Sometimes, usually when we least expect it and need it the most, we meet an individual who has a profound and positive impact on our lives; a person who truly makes the world a better place. Patricia Donahue is one of those very special people. As I read the nomination form for recipients of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses I thought of Patricia.

Patricia always gets above and beyond recognition from every patient that is under her care. Patients say she really takes the time to listen and respond to their needs. Patients also say that she is very sweet and thorough in her care. I think this nurse is definitely in the right profession.
