October 2013 Honoree
patricia dunlap, RN
Patricia Dunlap's patient was being discharged to home and did not have transportation to get home. She did not have any friends or family that could pick her up. The patient lives an hour away from Pittsburgh and the social worker made arrangements for a van to take her home which cost over $400. Patricia offered to drive her home because she was going that way home to pick up her daughter from her moms house in Mercer County. This is an example of how she is toward her patients.
Thank you, Patricia, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
