My dad had 2 strokes and was transferred from 3rdfloor over to MICU1. Patty came in and introduced herself and was consistently letting us know what she was doing in taking care of my dad. Patty was also so very compassionate and informative in everything she did. Her positivity helped my family, my dad, and me in focusing on the progress he was making. My dad referred to her as his "Patty Cakes" which was awesome because we hadn't seen his sense of humor come back until this nurse started working with him. I am so grateful for her kindness and compassion. I could tell that this was not just a job for her, but a calling from up above. We were so very blessed to have her caring for our dad. My mind and heart were at ease for this reason. She was a dear blessing to my dad and to us!
